The 2024 League of Kentucky Sportsmen’s Annual Convention is fast approaching.  This year’s convention will be hosted by the 5th District Federation and will be held in Carrollton, Kentucky at the General Butler State Park.   The address for the hotel is 1608 KY-227, Carrollton KY.  The LKS Convention will be July 12th – July 14th, 2024.  The Business meeting will be Saturday July 13th, at the Conference Center and will begin at 9:00 am.

 

Rooms are being held at General Butler at the reduced rate of $139.95 per night.  There will also be a few cottages with 1,2 or 3 bedrooms held at the rate of $167 - $190. This rate will be good only until 5:00 pm June 12th, 2024.  If you make your reservations after that time and date it will be the regular weekend rate.   The phone number for reservations is (502) 732-4384.   You must mention that you are with the League of Kentucky Sportsmen or give the code “6838” when making your reservations to get the discounted rate.  Please book early to get the discount.

 

The League will co-host an awards banquet and dinner this year with the Kentucky Wildlife Federation Foundation on Saturday evening, July 13th.  The banquet will require a dinner ticket, which will need to be purchased by JUNE 29th.  The final count will be given to the Caterer on June 30th, we are sorry, but NO tickets can be purchased after that date.  The doors will open at 6:00pm and dinner will be at 7:00pm.
